Myles is an experienced litigation and appellate attorney. He has successfully prosecuted numerous claims on behalf of his clients in trial and appellate courts at both the state and federal levels throughout the country involving consumer fraud, unfair competition, invasion of privacy, false advertising and breach of contract.
Myles’ practice includes the prosecution of nationwide and regional litigation, including multidistrict and class action litigation, and on appeals arising out of such litigation including in the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been appointed class counsel for numerous class actions in both state and federal courts around the country.
Myles has been asked by members of Congress to comment on proposed legislation and has provided testimony on related matters to state regulatory bodies including the California Public Utilities Commission and the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Florida. He has repeatedly been recognized as an “Illinois Super Lawyer” and as one of Illinois’ top attorneys under the age of 40.
Myles also represents clients in the technology and consumer product industries in a variety of commercial disputes, including intellectual property and employment matters.
Myles received his J.D. from Marquette Law School and his B.A. from Marquette University. Myles was born in Evanston, Illinois and resides in Chicago.
Evan M. Meyers
Evan is an experienced trial and appellate litigator who has handled all aspects of the litigation process – from pleadings through trial – for a broad range of complex litigation matters, including contract disputes, securities and consumer fraud, employment discrimination, insurance coverage, antitrust, shareholder and tax disputes, and business torts. Evan has extensive experience with class action litigation, with an emphasis on consumer privacy, telecommunications, consumer fraud, and financial services matters. Evan has been appointed as Class Counsel and has successfully managed numerous national class action lawsuits involving the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in courts throughout the country, including cases that have resulted in millions of dollars of recovery for hundreds of thousands of consumers. Evan has also successfully prosecuted class action lawsuits against major national banks for suspending home equity lines of credit in the wake of the financial crash, obtaining settlements restoring hundreds of millions of dollars in consumer credit lines.
Prior to joining McGuire Law P.C., Evan was Senior Counsel at a class action law firm based in Chicago and was a litigation associate at the national law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Additionally, Evan served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Wayne R. Andersen (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Evan received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and his B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan.
Eugene Y. Turin
Eugene is an associate attorney concentrating on civil, commercial and class action litigation. Eugene also has experience prosecuting personal injury and medical malpractice matters.
Prior to joining McGuire Law P.C., Eugene served as a judicial extern for Justice Terrence J. Lavin of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, Third Division.
Eugene received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he concentrated on civil litigation and received his certificate in trial advocacy. During law school he was a member of Loyola’s American Bar Association Moot Court team and the Loyola Law Journal. Eugene received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.
Paul T. Geske
Paul Geske is an associate attorney concentrating in civil, commercial, and class action litigation.
Prior to joining McGuire Law, Paul worked for a leading litigation firm in Chicago, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable James R. Epstein at the Illinois First District Court of Appeals, Fourth Division.
Paul received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, Paul was an Executive Articles Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and an editor for the Seventh Circuit Review. He was also awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence for his scholarship and won the inaugural Judge John D. Schwartz Memorial writing competition. Paul received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
David L. Gerbie
David is an associate attorney whose practice is focused on civil, commercial and class action litigation, with a focus on protecting the rights of American consumers. Prior to joining McGuire Law, David clerked for a civil rights firm in Madison, Wisconsin where he conducted legal research and writing on various constitutional issues while working to protect civil rights.
David received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. During law school, David served as Vice-President of the University of Wisconsin Law School Mock Trial Team, and competed in the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition. Additionally, David spent a year working with the Wisconsin Innocence Project to exonerate the wrongfully convicted.
David received his B.A. Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University. He is a native of the Chicago area and is a member of the Illinois and Wisconsin Bars.
William P. Kingston
William is an associate attorney focused on civil and commercial class action litigation.
Prior to joining McGuire Law P.C., William served the underprivileged in a Fair Housing Clinic in Chicago and fought racial and income based discrimination in housing. Additionally, William organized community outreach for unions in Chicago as a member of an affiliate of the AFL-CIO.
William received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and received his B.A. from Dalhousie University. William is a California native and is a member of the Illinois Bar.
Jad Sheikali, CIPP/US
Jad Sheikali is an associate attorney at McGuire Law, P.C., focusing his practice on data privacy and cybersecurity class action litigation. Jad has experience in all phases of the litigation process, frequently appearing in both state and federal courts. Jad is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States (CIPP/US), a designation awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Jad received a certificate from Harvard’s Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning following completion of its cybersecurity risk management course.
Jad has litigated class-wide and single-plaintiff actions involving financial services, unfair and deceptive business practices, consumer fraud, defective products, breach of contract, mass tort, and general commercial matters. Prior to joining MCGPC, Jad practiced at a civil defense firm and served as a law clerk for the commercial litigation group of a Chicago business law firm.
Jad earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he was the recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for most outstanding legal writing. Jad received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida.
Admitted to practice in Illinois and in the Northern District of Illinois, Jad was selected to the 2019 Illinois Rising Stars list for class action and mass tort litigation by Super Lawyers.
Timothy P. Kingsbury
Timothy Kingsbury is an associate attorney at McGuire Law, P.C. where he concentrates his practice on class action and mass tort litigation. Prior to joining McGuire Law, Tim clerked for a leading Chicago area defense firm and apprenticed in the legal department of one of the country’s largest franchisors.
Tim received his J.D., Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he
served as an editor of the Illinois Law Review and as a member of the Community Preservation Clinic of Champaign-Urbana where he represented the underprivileged in foreclosure proceedings.
Tim received his B.A. from Princeton University. A native of the Chicago area, Tim is a member of the Illinois Bar.
Andrew T. Heldut
Andrew Heldut is an associate attorney at McGuire Law where he concentrates his practice on consumer protection matters. Andrew assists in the prosecution of several class action lawsuits and is admitted to practice law in Illinois and in the Northern District of Illinois.
Prior to joining McGuire Law, Andrew served as an assistant to various aldermanic campaigns in Chicago and for the office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.). Andrew received his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.
Andrew received his B.A. from the University of Strathclyde (U.K.) and is a member of American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Brendan J. Duffner
Brendan Duffner is an associate attorney at MCGUIRE LAW where he concentrates his practice on consumer protection matters.
Prior to joining McGuire Law, Brendan served as a member of the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, assisting small businesses in entity formation and trademark prosecutions, achieving academic excellence in the area of Trademark and Unfair Competition. Brendan received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.
Brendan received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
